Dimapur, Oct. 20: The Ao Baptist Aroga Mungdang (ABAM) and the Christian ministry Jesus Calls will be organising a programme 'Bless Nagaland Mokokchung Prayer Festival' during November 8-10 at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex in Mokokchung.
This was informed during a press conference that was conducted on Oct. 20 at the Tir Yimyim press point, at the Supermarket in Dimapur.
Speaking at the press conference, a member of the planning committee of the ABAM, K Temjen Jamir, also the editor of Tir YimYim, informed that Dr. Paul Dhinakar and his family will be sharing from God's word and message at the programme in Mokokchung. The services will be in English and Nagamese, it was informed.
Jamir said that the prayer festival will be open to all irrespective of faith. 'We want everyone to come and receive the blessing,' Jamir said.
Jamir said the event will also partly commemorate the 150 years of Christianity in 2022 after it was first introduced to Nagaland in 1872 by American missionary Edwin W Clark.
Zone manager of Jesus Calls for Northeast India, Sathrack Billygraham, thanked the ABAM for associating with Jesus calls.
'Jesus calls, for the past 57 years have committed on uplifting people spiritually, physically and mentally. We will continue to extend our arm to everyone in every way possible,' Billygraham said. He informed that a prayer meeting will be organised on November 5 at 3:00 pm at the Ao Baptist Arogo, Nagarjan fellowship, in Dimapur.
Billygraham said that the November 5 prayer meeting will be held for people who won't be able to attend the prayer festival in Mokokchung. He urged the people of Nagaland to come with their families and friends and receive blessings from God.
Also, he appealed to the people of Nagaland to pray for the success of the event.
