Mokokchung to host 18th Imchaba Master Memorial Volleyball Trophy

MOKOKCHUNG — The Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) has announced that the 18th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy 2025 will be held from October 21 to 24 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung.

The prestigious tournament, regarded as one of Nagaland’s premier volleyball events, will feature 16 teams only, selected on a first-come, first-served basis, the MDVA informed.

Attractive prize money has been lined up for the competition. The champions will walk away with INR 1,00,000, while the runner-up will receive INR 70,000. The third-placed team will be awarded INR 30,000 and the fourth INR 20,000. Individual honours, carrying INR 5,000 each, will also be given to the Best Spiker, Best Setter, and Player of the Tournament. In addition, each participating team will be provided a Participation Grant of INR 5,000 to encourage inclusivity and fair competition.

The MDVA stated that the Imchaba Master Memorial Trophy has grown into one of the state’s most anticipated sporting events, continuing its tradition of promoting volleyball, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It further invited all volleyball enthusiasts and teams to participate in the upcoming edition.
