DIMAPUR — A meeting of the Mokokchung district task force for routine immunisation (RI) was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the deputy commissioner (DC) of Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, at his office’s conference hall.
An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, stated that Dr. Mhechekhro Mero, WHO consultant (RRT), made a powerpoint presentation on the district immunisation activities, achievements and gaps.
It added that the members discussed on the district headcount and co-ordination between the allied departments to achieve immunisation programme targets.

It stated that the deputy commissioner has urged the members to participate and co-ordinate during health related activities in the district.
Besides the deputy commissioner, the meeting was attended by CMO, DPO (UIP & RCH) DPO CD-1, medical officer, consultant of UNICEF, CDPO, members from DRDA, Rotary Club, IRCS and CMO staff.
