Mokokchung Police organised a mini-marathon to raise cybersecurity awareness among students, youth, and citizens in Mokokchung.

DIMAPUR — The Mokokchung Police organised a mini-marathon on October 25 on the theme “Run for cybersecurity awareness” to promote awareness among students and citizens about cybersecurity, online safety, and preventive measures against cyber-related crimes.
According to an update, the marathon started from Police New Reserve and concluded at Police Point, Mokokchung town.
The event saw active participation from schools, colleges, departmental employees, and youth, with a total of 153 participants taking part in the race. A total prize amount of INR 40,000, along with certificates, was awarded to the top three winners in all categories.
In the School Girls category, Imnasenla secured the first prize of INR 5000, followed by Imjungbenla Walling in second place with INR 3000, and Abigail Lkr in third place with INR 2000.

In the School Boys category, Talimein Jamir bagged the first prize of INR 5000, Lansucha came second with INR 3000, and Chunki Chuchet finished third with INR 2000.
In the Women’s (Open) category, Temsunochetla claimed the first prize of INR 5000, Tiasenla took the second prize of INR 3000, and Taienlemla won the third prize of INR 2000.
In the Men’s (Open) category, Taliyanger Ozukum won the first prize of INR 5000, Tekasanen Lkr came second with INR 3000, and Mukom C finished third with INR 2000.
While presenting the prizes, Additional Superintendent of Police Y Tumchobemo Yanthan expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm and congratulated the winners for their fitness.
He also urged everyone to remain vigilant and to spread awareness among family and friends to safeguard against cyber-related crimes. He cautioned the youth against sharing sensitive or personal images that could be misused by miscreants.
