teams battled for crucial points in the league round on Wednesday. The matches
featured standout performances and competitive clashes as the tournament
progressed.
- In the opening match of the day, Tongdentsuyong secured a
dominant 3-0 victory over Marepkong, with Imtikumzuk netting a hat-trick in the
11th, 26th, and 53rd minutes. The match saw three yellow cards issued by the referee—Yimkumer
(10th minute) and Tiawapang (54th minute) from Marepkong, and Mulungen (49th
minute) from Tongdentsuyong.
- Artang continued their strong form, earning their second win
of the league round by defeating Penli 1-0. Temjenwapang scored the winning
goal in the 58th minute, while Penli’s Imtitangit received a yellow card during
the match. In another decisive game, Dilong defeated Lijaba Lijen 2-0, with
Takutoba scoring in the 48th minute and Lipoknungsang adding another in the
63rd minute.
- Earlier in the day, Penli edged out Mongsenbai 1-0, courtesy
of Samuel’s 7th-minute goal. Meanwhile, Majakong secured a 2-1 victory over
Arkong in a closely fought match. Watitemsu put Majakong ahead in the 9th
minute, but Inovi equalized for Arkong in the 37th minute. However,
Opangsunep’s goal in the 43rd minute ensured Majakong’s win.
