Mokokchung, Oct. 15 (EMN): The much awaited Mokokchung Inter-club Championship organised by the Mokokchung District Badminton Association (MDBA) will begin from Oct.18 – 20 at the Indoor Badminton Hall.
This was announced by tourney convenor, Er Yanger Pongen in a press conference at the MDBA chamber on Monday. This year marked the third edition of Mokokchung Inter-club Championship where seven reputed badminton clubs in the district will be competing for the coveted title under seven categories.
The tourney has become a popular event which has nurtured and promoted many young talents in the district. Last year the Native Shuttlers, Mopungchuket clinched the coveted title and this year too, the club will be defending the title.
