Dimapur, March 10 (EMN): The Mokokchung Organic Farmers’ Co-operative Society Ltd. (MOFCSL) has registered with the Cooperative Societies of Nagaland under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North East region (MOVCDNER) programme.
This was disclosed by the deputy district agriculture officer, Temsuienla, during the meeting of MOFCSL Board of Directors held on March 9 under the initiative of district agriculture office.
The house deliberated on various agendas including progressive organic farming, marketing strategies, and other vital platforms for better performance of organic farming in the district.
After the meeting, all board members and officials of district agriculture office visited the newly allotted aggregation and collection centre where FPO office would be set up. All members unanimously decided that the FPO office should be officially inaugurated on March 16.
