Mokokchung DTCC visits quarantine centre and hospital

Dimapur, June 11 (EMN): The District Tobacco Control Cell, Mokokchung visited quarantine centre and Impur Hospital in the district.

The team raised awareness on spitting, smoking and chewing of tobacco products by providing IEC posters at the quarantine centres for the inmates to paste in their respective rooms, informed an update from Chief Medical Officer's office.

Dr. Taliwaba, district nodal officer National Tobacco Control Programme, Mokokchung, briefed on tobacco use and its effects relating to Covid-19 at Impur Hospital and quarantine centre.

 The team also provided 100 mosquito repellents, 50 tissue rolls and five dustbins for quarantine centre.
