Mokokchung DDMA to conduct mock drill on November 2

DIMAPUR — Thsuvisie Poji, deputy commissioner, and chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Mokokchung, has announced that the DDMA in Mokokchung is scheduled to conduct a mock drill on November 2.

A DIPR report mentioned that the exercise is part of its readiness measures to respond to emergencies. The drill is scheduled to commence at 9 am.

In light of this, the general public of Mokokchung town has been requested not to be alarmed during the execution of the mock drill. Further, cooperation from the public has been sought to ensure the smooth execution of the exercise and to assist all stakeholders involved.

The mock drill will take place at different locations, which include Imkongmeren Sports Complex (local ground) Mokokchung; Dilong Government High School; Model Higher Secondary School, Arkong Ward; Mokokchung Municipal Complex; and Jubilee College Salangtem and Vidi Vici Villa, Aongza Ward.
