Dimapur, July 18 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Mokokchung Sachin Jaiswal has informed the affected landowners of Unger, Chuchuyimlang and Mongsenyimti villages due to the construction of the 2-lane road under National Highway-61 stretching from Mokokchung to Tuli to collect compensation on specific dates.
A DIPR report informed affected Unger village landowners to collect the compensation on July 21 from 11 am; Chuchuyimlang villagers on July 23 from 9:30 am; and Mongsenyimti villagers on July 27 from 9:30 am. Compensations are to collect from DC’s office.
Village council chairman along with GBs are directed to be present in person to identify the landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of the cheque, failing which the payment will be withheld.
Landowners are asked to come in person along with identity proof, bank pass book and two copies of passport photos. Payment to representatives other than the concern person shall not be entertained.
DC has informed that the amount of the compensation paid shall be strictly according to the list received from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
