
MOKOKCHUNG — Mokokchung district bade farewell to its outgoing deputy commissioner, Sashank Pratap Singh, on Friday during a programme held in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said Mokokchung is one of the best places to stay in any capacity and added that the time spend in Mokokchung was the most comfortable stay in Nagaland.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]He maintained that whatever achievement made during his stay in Mokokchung as the deputy commissioner was all through the cooperation and support of the people. He asked the people to give the same support and cooperation to the incoming deputy commissioner as well.
Singh stated that with the blessings of the people of Mokokchung, he would strive to do his best in his new assignments.
Thsuvisie Phoji, the incoming deputy commissioner of Mokokchung, in his short speech, stated that he was ready to take advice from the people of Mokokchung and also sought their support in order to achieve success in everything as a team.
He has assured to give his best in serving the district and the people.
Short speeches were delivered by the district planning officer, Imlikokba, president of Ao Senden, president of All Ward Union Mokokchung, PA to DC and ADC of Mokokchung.
The associate pastor of MTBA, Monglier Tzudir, said the invocation prayer while the EAC of Mokokchung, Vitolu Chishi, chaired the programme.
