DIMAPUR — Modern College, Piphema, held its 6th graduation day on Tuesday at the College Indoor Stadium. The event was attended by Dr. Premila Swamy D, Regional Director, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre-20, Kohima, as the special guest.
In her address, Dr. Swamy reminded the graduates that while graduation marks the end of one chapter, it is only the beginning of a larger journey, according to an update.
She urged the students to cultivate a strong vision for their future and to work diligently towards realising their dreams.
Emphasising the importance of personal growth, she encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones, take bold risks, and embrace challenges as necessary steps on the path to success.
Dr. Swamy also challenged the conventional notion that government jobs are the only viable career paths, urging students to explore diverse opportunities and to define success on their own terms.
