Dimapur, Dec. 15 (EMN): Education department of the Modern College Kohima (MCK) organised a national webinar on “Equitable use of technology and changes in the structure of school education under NEP” on December 14.
An update from the college stated that the speakers of the webinar were Dr. Mohammad Sayid Bhat, assistant professor of Education from the Central University of Kashmir; and Rev. Dr. Allan Palanna, professor of Theology College and Ethics from United Theological College, Bangalore.
It stated that Dr. Bhat spoke on school education by emphasising on ECCE- the foundation of learning and foundational literacy, while Rev. Dr. Palanna spoke on uses of technology in education.
The webinar was chaired by the college assistant professor of Education Vipiarienuo, while the welcome address was delivered by HoD of Education Deepali Thapa. It further stated that a total of 100 people including students, scholars and teachers from across the country have participated in the webinar.
