Dimapur, August 19 (EMN): Model Christian College, Kohima,organised its 3rd Literary Day with Vishü Krocha as guest speaker.
Addressing the students, Krocha shared her experiences growing up as an aspiring writer in a society where doctors, engineers and the like carry more weightage while literary creativity (singing, dancing, painting, writing, etc.) was regarded more as a hobby.
Now, she said times have changed and occasions like literary day will enable the students to showcase their creative abilities paving the way to make it as a profession. She urged the students to follow their interests with passion which is the key to success.
The second session included competitions on painting, slogan writing, poetry, group song, extempore speech, debate, quiz and spelling bee.
