Dimapur, Feb. 22 (EMN): The director of Social Welfare department, Michael Zaren, inaugurated a model Anganwadi centre in Kupuhe village under Medziphema ICDS project on February 21.
An update from the district programme officer, Keneikesangulie Zumu, stated that high ranking officials from the directorate of Social Welfare and various officers and staff from Dimapur district attended the inaugural programme.
It stated that supervisor, K Aholi, chaired the programme, while the pastor of Kupuhe village, Saikha Chishi offered the dedicatory prayer. It added that short speeches were delivered by the director of Social Welfare, Michael Zaren, additional director Tosheli Zhimomi, CDPO (U) Renchano Odyuo and chairman of Kupuhe village Yekuto Chishi.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by a senior supervisor, Chubameren.
