
DIMAPUR — MMB Cyber School organised a media literacy workshop at Ruzhukhrie Higher Secondary School in Kohima on May 20.
The workshop aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
More than 100 students from the IT, Tourism, and Hospitality classes participated in the workshop.
The session, led by Tsutipang Jamir, Head of Media and PR at MMB Cyber School, shed light on media literacy and covered fundamental theories outlined in the C3 syllabus.

Tsutipang Jamir discussed the significance of being cautious while using the internet. He introduced the concept of Netiquette (Internet Etiquettes), emphasising the responsible and ethical use of online platforms. Jamir also stressed on the importance of utilising the internet for constructive purposes and harnessing its advantages for the betterment of society.

The workshop fostered active participation from the students who participated in the Q&A session and engaged in programme activities. Real-life stories of scams and frauds were shared anonymously to create awareness among the students, empowering them to make informed decisions while navigating the digital landscape.
