DIMAPUR — The Müluori Area Public Organisation
(MAPO) has excommunicated Tsiaratho Nyuwi, primary teacher at GPS, Tezatsü, and
son of Fürüsie Nyuwi of Meluri village, for a period of five years, effective
June 9, 2025, to June 9, 2030.
In a press release, the MAPO informed that the
excommunication order was as per the Müluori customary laws and practices.
“During this period, his citizenship is also suspended for
which no individual or group should entertain him as a Meluri citizen in any
manner.”
“This notification is served for life-threatening the
village leaders and diluting the social fabric on several occasions,” the
organisation stated.
Further, the MAPO appealed to all the Naga political groups
not to recruit or entertain Tsiaratho Nyuwi.
