Legislator Kuzholuzo Nienu calls upon students to work for greater interest of the Nagas.

DIMAPUR — Underlining the urgency to resolve the long-pending Indo-Naga political issue, Member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kuzholuzo Nienu has called upon students to uphold their responsibility and work for the greater interest of the Nagas.
Speaking at the 25th anniversary celebration of the Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) on Saturday at Jotsoma community hall in Kuda village, Dimapur, Nienu advised the various student bodies not to be a hindrance in the common endeavour for greater Naga unity in their pursuit to unify their respective unions.
The event was held on the theme “Nurturing brotherhood.”
He expressed confidence that the Nagas would have a bright future only if the present students were given the right direction based on the biblical teachings.
To become a good leader, he urged the students to stand on truth by putting God first in their lives.

Urging the students to let the Bible be their guide, Nienu stated that one can achieve anything in life by trusting God. He also advised the students to use God-given knowledge and work for the betterment of humanity.
According to him, true leaders value integrity, ideology, principles and stand for truth even if they are alone. He added that true leaders should lead the people by doing the right things.
Nienu cautioned against taking revenge for wrongs done to them, advising instead to leave it to God, saying He is able to repay with better revenge.
He further urged the gathering to be God-fearing students to become better leaders.
The jubilee choirs from Discipleship Bible College and PM Shri GHSS Chümoukedima enthralled the gathering with their presentations.
A solo was also presented by Nikesa Sakhrie, while a folk song was presented by Vetahülü Sapu and Thukunulu Curhah.
The presidential address was delivered by Sotilo Seb, while greetings were shared by representatives from the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF), Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), and Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD).
The cultural session was attended by GK Rengma, president of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD). The session featured guest artists including Keneisenuo Sorhie, Dzüpani, Isile Zeliang, and Yoto Khusoh.
