Dimapur, April 8 (EMN): The Mokokchung Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of head quarter inspector general of Assam Rifles (north) conducted an interaction session about the theme ‘Drug free Nagaland’ in Mokokchung on April 7.
According to the press release by the Assam Rifles on Sunday, a total of 36 youths attended the lecture.
The aim of the lecture was to spread awareness and educate the local youths about the evil effects of drugs and how it hampers the growth of young boys and girls of the society.
The lecture stated to have brought forth the aspects of emotional, social and financial burden caused by a drug user on the whole family.
An emphasis was laid on various measures that can be taken from keeping the young generation away from the evil of drug abuse, the press release stated.
