MK Binodini memorial lecture held

Correspondent IMPHAL, FEBRUARY 6 The second MK Binodini Devi Memorial Lecture was held at the Chandrakriti Auditorium at Palace compound in Imphal this afternoon.The memorial lecture was organized under the aegis of Maharaj Kumari Binodini Foundation on the occasion of MK Binodini Devi’s 92nd birth anniversary. Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh was the chief guest of the memorial lecture where the noted Indian feminist, publisher and historian Urvashi Butalia presented a talk on ‘Dismantling the Master’s House: New Genres in Women’s Writing’. Chief Minister Ibobi also released 158 paged book “Isei Binodinigi” edited by Aribam Syam Sharma and Chongtham Kamala during the occasion.
