Parliamentary Secretary of Higher and Technical Education, Deo Nukhu, graced the 3rd Graduation Day function of the Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima, on December 3.
Addressing the gathering, Deo Nukhu encouraged the graduated students to be a good and sincere teacher. He also released the annual magazine of MITE and appreciated the Modern Institute of Teacher Education for its commendable functioning and possessing good infrastructure.
N Daili, Board member of Modern Society of Education; Ake, PS to the Parliamentary Secretary; Those, Rural Development administrative officer; Dr. HP Singh, Principal of Modern College, were other important guests. All the staff, student-teachers of current batches and alumni attended the function.
The welcome address was delivered by Pelee Hekha, Managing Director. All the ten toppers, distinction holders and the other graduated student-teachers of B Ed- Session 2014 were awarded the certificates.
