Mission Shakti Nagaland organises training for crèche workers.

DIMAPUR — Mission Shakti Nagaland under the Social Welfare Department has organised a three-day state-level training for crèche workers under Palna – Anganwadi-Cum-Crèche (AWCC) from May 20 to the 22nd at the Anganwadi Training Centre (AWTC) in Diphupar A under Chümoukedima district.
An update from the department stated that the inaugural programme was chaired by Asangla Jamir, assistant director of Social Welfare. In her introductory remarks, Tosheli Zhimomi, director of Social Welfare, encouraged the crèche workers to serve with dedication and to make utmost use of the training programme. She also urged them to ensure providing a safe and secure environment for children at the crèche facility.

The keynote address was delivered by Yongchingkumla, secretary of Social Welfare and mission director of Mission Shakti, in which she highlighted that with the expansion of Palna centres in the state, more women in both organised as well as unorganised sectors would be benefited from it.
The course directors for the training programme were Unice, CDPO, and Limasangla, CDPO.
