'Mission Satyanishtha' launched to make railways corruption-free

[caption id="attachment_197591" align="aligncenter" width="600"] N.K.Prasad and other officers and staff seen taking the pledge on the occasion of observance of ‘Mission Satyanishtha” in New Delhi on Friday.[/caption] Dimapur, July 27 (EMN): With a view to eradicate all forms of corruption and bringing integrity to all the 13 lakhs railway employees, the ministry of railways has launched the programme ‘Mission Satyanishtha’ under which all the Board Members and other Senior Officers took the oath of ethics and integrity in the presence of Union Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal and K.V.Chowdary, Chief Vigilance Officer and others. According to a press statement from SK Ojah, senior PRO received here on Friday, the main motto of this mission is to sensitise all railway officers and supervisors about the need to adhere to ethics and maintain high standards of probity in public life. The function of oath taking ceremony was held on Friday, July 27 at the National Rail Museum, New Delhi and was webcast to all Zonal Railways and Production Units which was attended by respective Zonal Railways’ big bosses and other staff. Former Cabinet Secretary Prabhat Kumar, former Secretary Anil Swaroop, MHRD spoke to railway ministry top bosses on the subjects like positive thinking and ethics during the programme. In N.F.Railway construction organisation, N.K.Prasad, General Manager and other Sr. Officers, supervisors & staff witnessed the live telecast of “Mission Satyanishtha” at its Head quarters, Maligaon and took the pledge, administered by Piyush Goyal from New Delhi.
