Police officials inspect the site of an IED blast at Singjamei in Imphal West district, Manipur on Thursday.[/caption] Our Correspondent IMPHAL, March 9: A day after eight persons including women were injured in a bomb explosion in the heart of the Imphal town, another bomb exploded at Singjamei, an important commercial centre, on Thursday afternoon. However there is no report of any human casualty during the explosion, reports said. Reports said the incident took place on the western side of road meridian just opposite to the busy Super Market Complex at Singjamei along the Imphal – Moreh road about 3 km south of Imphal around 5 p.m. On Wednesday around 5:40 p.m. at least 8 persons including 3 women were injured in a blast occurred in front of Deva Pharmacy near Kasturi bridge in Thangal Bazaar in Imphal.On Tuesday too, one polling official injured in bomb attack in Manipur’s Kamjong district, succumbed to the injuries, sources said. However, two Assam Rifles personnel, who were reported injury in the bomb attacks in Kamjong district, were taken to the army hospital at Leimakhong for treatment. An ex-gratia of Rs 20 lakh for the kith and kin of the deceased was issued through the DC, Ukhrul.
