Ministry of MSME and DIC Kiphire organise a market awareness workshop under PM Vishwakarma to empower traditional artisans.

DIMAPUR — The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Dimapur, in association with the Department of Industries and Commerce and District Industries Centre (DIC), Kiphire, organised a one-day market awareness workshop under PM Vishwakarma at the Hopongkyu Memorial Hall, Kiphire, on February 9.
According to an update, Intsangju Y Sangtam, general manager of DIC Dimapur, gave the commencement address by welcoming the artisans to engage in the series of technical sessions and actively participate in market linkages under the DIC.

Nongshe, functional manager of DIC Dimapur, informed the artisans of the various schemes under the Ministry of MSME and the state government.
He urged the artisans to avail themselves of information and seek assistance through the DIC for support. An interactive session on branding, product design and marketing was conducted by the State Programme Management Unit, PM Vishwakarma.
This was followed by an interactive session with the artisans, the DIC and the State Programme Management Unit, PM Vishwakarma. The session addressed the doubts artisans had about training, toolkits, and credit under the scheme.
