DIMAPUR — The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Dimapur, in association with the District Industries Centre (DIC), Mon district, organised a one-day awareness workshop under PM Vishwakarma at the DIC conference hall in Mon on February 19.
During the technical session, Robert Zosangliana, Chief Manager, SBI Mon, addressed the gathering on financial literacy and banking matters. He briefed on the criteria for the PM Vishwakarma loan, stated a DIPR report.
Mopa Talem Konyak N, Manager, SCK (IDAN) Mon, spoke on entrepreneurship development and marketing strategies. He called upon the people to be successful in their business and to focus more on OPEX (operating expenses) rather than CAPEX (capital investment). He also highlighted the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Scheme and the criteria for the loan.

Mansa Walim, Inspector of Industry, DIC Mon, shared the schemes under the MSME and the state government.
ML Daniel, Project Associate, RAMP, spoke on the onboarding of PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries on the Udyam registration portal. He reminded the artisans that the Udyam card is an important document like the Aadhaar card and is mandatory for the PM Vishwakarma loan.
Lohe Lokajiia Victoria, SPLMU, explained QR code generation for PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries and urged all the artisans to start their work as early as possible. She reminded them to be active and functional to avoid losses in their business.
Y Shoyan Konyak, General Manager, DIC Mon, delivered the keynote address. Welcoming the members, she extended her gratitude to the resource persons for rendering their service. She also reminded the gathering about the Aspirational District programme and encouraged them to participate actively.
A total of 101 artisans participated in the workshop.
