Students’ Union in Tukunasa village on Tuesday.
- DIMAPUR — Minister of Road and Bridges, G Kaito Aye, has
called upon the students to be part of social transformation and strive for a
bright future in tune with the evolving change of time.
- The
minister stated this during the 37th general conference of Satakha Range
Students’ Union (SRSU) held on Tuesday in Tukunasa village in Zunheboto
district as the special guest on the theme "With necessary changes."
- He
encouraged students to excel and become shining examples to society, as they
are the leaders of tomorrow. Stating that student community has a vital role in
contributing to society, he encouraged them to participate in positive
transformation.
- He noted
that the student community, being neutral, has the opportunity to unite and
reform Satakha with clear vision and should not indulge in electoral politics.
He stressed on the importance of collective participation in social transformation.
- The
minister informed that a work order has been issued for blacktopping of road
between Nunumi and Tukunasa village, which would be completed shortly to
enhance road connectivity and the local economy, an update from the union
stated.
- He also
assured to support students aspiring for competitive examinations and
encouraged them to be proud students and leaders. He appealed to the student
community to prioritise education and improve enrollment, stating that good
enrollment would enable him to bring a college to Satakha area.
- He further
stated that good road connectivity in Zunheboto district and Satakha region
would enhance the economy in the region.
