Minister DoSE assures ENSF on teachers' posts

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): The Minister for Department of School Education has assured the  Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) that the latter demands will be met by the department. The minister had given the assurance when the delegation of the ENSF met the minister along with the Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) members as informed through a press note from the ENSF. "The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) had a meeting with the Education’s Minister and Principal Secretary at former chamber in the presence of Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) members pertaining to the demand of the ENSF. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister assured the federation to uphold the Notification demanded by the federation," stated the press release. The federations has also directed the Eastern Naga aspirants to restrain from participating in the scheduled examination for Graduate teachers of Mathematics and Science on Sep.25, 2017 till such time the department re-advertised the posts. The federation also appealed to  the department to re-advertise the posts at the earliest for Eastern Nagaland and as demanded by the federation. and that the vacancies reserved for the eastern Nagas  should  not be filled.
