Dimapur, July 6 (EMN): Attributing ‘ism’ as one culpable cause for the prevailing division within the Naga society, state minister of higher technical education, Temjen Imna Along, has encouraged the students to take the lead in eradicating such feelings and pave the way to march towards a prosperous and visionary life.

Taking cognizance of the situation, Along has encouraged the students to the forefront in eradicating the feeling of “isms” and enable the Naga society and for the Indian nation live a prosperous and a visionary life.

“Don’t do what we are doing in Nagaland. Don’t copy the corruption, the hypocrisy, the ‘isms,’ and the domestic walls that we have built among ourselves,” said Along and suggested the students to live life as they want to live without being affected by the grudges around them.
“I want to identify with the future of my people. I don’t want to identify myself with those people who have brought so much rampant corruption, who have neglected our state. I want to identify with the people who want to build them up,” said Along.
He asserted that he wants to identify himself to the weak, poor, and the middle class people, who wanted to have a future for the state and someone who will not have a feeling of tribalism within them. To substantiate his statement, he said, “extraordinary people don’t do extraordinary things; ordinary people take their steps towards extraordinary livelihood and they end up doing extra ordinary things.”
The minister concluded his speech by saying that ‘the smallest gestures in one’s life will be the foundation of one’s life for the future’ and advised them to live their lives for the sake of other’s happiness.
