Mima students observe sanitation day

[caption id="attachment_142968" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Members of the Mima Students’ Union pose for a group photo during the sanitation drive in the village on October 2.[/caption] Dimapur, Oct 6 (EMN): With an objective to create awareness among the people on the importance of cleanliness in and around the village and how it impacts our health and environment, Mima Students’ Union (MSU) observed a sanitation day on October 2 in the village and installed plastic dustbin donated by DPDB Kohima. MSU, in a press release issued by its president Seyievituo Lese and the information secretary Metebo-o Sote, have acknowledged the tireless efforts of the responsible citizens who turned up and contributed positively. MSU also requested all the concerned citizens to use those dustbins and take proper care of the public properties. Meanwhile, the union has announced to conduct a workshop on ‘Modern education’ in collaboration with the DPDB on October 23 in Mima village council hall. In this regard, all the college students are requested to attend the programme.
