Imphal, Sep. 10 (PTI): Security forces have arrested a militant belonging to a proscribed outfit in Manipur’s Thoubal district, police said on Tuesday.
A team of Manipur Police Commandoes and Assam Rifles while conducting a search operation in and around Thoubal bazar area of the district arrested the militant belonging to United National Liberation Front (UNLF) on Monday, a release issued by the PRO of Manipur Police said.
A case has been registered at Thoubal police station for further investigation, the release added.
