- KIPHIRE — The
official launch programme of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Promotion
Council of India (MSME PCI) was held at RM Seili Complex conference hall in
Kiphire town on Wednesday.
- Speaking at the launch programme, Lanuakum Jamir, state
chairman of MSME PCI, stated that the launch programme marked a significant
milestone in fostering the local economy and addressing unemployment. He
stressed the importance of improving product quality through training and
modern techniques, while promoting awareness about e-commerce.
- He assured that MSME PCI would collaborate with the Government
of Nagaland to provide necessary assistance and encouraged the youth to start
small-scale businesses and grow gradually.
- The State Bank of India (SBI) branch manager of Kiphire,
Anthony K Nguori, congratulated the public on the launch of MSME PCI and highlighted
the importance to promote enterprises through partnerships with MSME PCI. He
stated that the collaboration would help bridge gaps and empower aspiring
entrepreneurs.
- He further encouraged taking loans with valid business plans
and assured full support from the bank to strengthen MSME initiatives.
- Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner of Kiphire, Tensuwati
Longkumer, described the launch programmer as a dream come true. He stated that
MSME PCI would ne gateway to economic growth and sustainable development. He
further encouraged collaboration among entrepreneurs to maximise resource
utilisation and ensure business growth.
- Intsangju, general manager of Industries and Commerce,
Kiphire district, raised awareness about various schemes available in the district
and encouraged the participants to take advantage of those opportunities.
