“NorthEast United FC has been my home for the past two years, and my family is happily settled here. It’s been an incredible journey with this group, who have become like family to me. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved so far, and I’m excited to continue working towards more success with the club,” Zabaco said.
“Michel has been an outstanding leader for our team, a true captain who leads by example every time he steps on the pitch. His experience, professionalism, and consistency make him one of the best centre-backs in the league. We’re delighted that he’s chosen to continue his journey with us. I have no doubt he’ll play a vital role as we move forward and grow stronger as a unit,” Juan Pedro Benali, NEUFC’s head coach, expressed.
“Michel is not just a great leader but also a players’ player, someone the entire squad looks up to. He sets the standard on and off the pitch and is a role model for the younger players.
