[caption id="attachment_258487" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Students of MGM College participating in the singing competition held on July 4.[/caption]   Dimapur, July 4 (EMN): MGM College organised a singing competition on July 4 at the college auditorium. The programme was hosted by Toshi R and Eyingi Yanthan of BA 3rd semester. The competition was conducted among four houses in three categories namely solo, duet and group song. The overall winner of the competition was bagged by the Red House. The programme ended with a short speech delivered by the college principal Fr. Dr. Shibu Varghese, wherein he highlighted on the importance of co-curricular programmes in the teaching learning process. He also highlighted the main points of National Education Policy-2019, where there won’t be any difference between curricular and co-curricular activities. He further declared that summer holidays would begin from July 6 to 31 adding that classes would resume from August 1.
