theme “Invest in yourself: prioritising your mental well-being” was aimed at

- Mere further elaborated on the significance of self-care
practices and the benefits of grounding techniques, encouraging a deeper
connection with nature as a means to cope with the stresses of modern life. He
also raised concerns about the increasing vulnerability of young Nagas to
stress, leading to unhealthy coping mechanisms such as gaming addiction, social
media addiction and substance abuse.
- While acknowledging the temporary sense of euphoria those
activities might provide, he cautioned against their long-term detrimental
effects on mental health.
- It further stated that the collaborative initiative between
CRIMHRC and NSS Science College underscored the growing recognition of the need
to address mental health issues and promote well-being within the student
community and beyond.
