Wokha, March 8: Director of DRDA Wokha, Thungdeno Mozhui, inaugurated the Mekokla Students’ Union (MSU) office cum library hall, constructed under VDB under grant in-aid, on March 6. The office cum library hall was dedicated by Pastor Mekokla Baptist Church, Yiremo Murry.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the chief guest advised the students to pursue their studies and excel. Mozhui also highlighted the schemes and projects undertaken by the department in the district.Short speeches were also delivered by president Wokha District VDB Association, Bichamo Shitiri; BDO Changpang RD Block, Mhabemo Humtsoe; former president MSU Abemo Kikon and Benrithung Y Kikon.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by VDB secretary Mekokla, Manthungo Kikon while head GB, phyokhamo Ezung extended greetings and Juli Tekhvu presented folksong.
