Meghalaya: HEAC celebrates 88th Air Force Day

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): The Headquarters Eastern Air Command (HEAC) celebrated the 88th Air Force Day at HEAC in Shillong on October 8.

And update from the PRO (Def) Kohima issued on October 8 informed that Air Marshal Amit Dev AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command administered the oath to all the personnel of the command and awarded commendations to air warriors and civilians who have excelled in their profession.

The Air Marshal urged the personnel to enhance operational capability, conduct safe flying and strengthen security of bases and stressing on the need for maintaining high operational preparedness, the Air Marshal urged all to stay committed to the service and continue one's hard work to “Touch the Sky with Glory”.
