Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) and the Peren district Legal Services Authority will organised a mega legal service camp in Peren. The camp will be conducted at the Peren town’s local ground of on May 19. The programme is being organised in collaboration with the government departments in concern, stakeholders, and NGOs.
The patron-in-chief of the NSLA, Ajit Singh will inaugurate the legal camp, A DPRO report informed.
The camp aims to provide real-time registration of beneficiaries in central and state government welfare schemes. Welfare legislation and schemes core departments will also be exhibited. Awareness on various government schemes, benefits and entitlements, legal counselling, and legal assistance. Besides, free distribution of legal literature, booklets, and pamphlets on basic laws, legislation and display of the authority documentaries are highlights of the programme.
The NSLSA’s theme song “Sob Ke Insaf Dibo,” will be release by the chief guest of the day. Over 30 governmental departments, stakeholders, and NGOs will set up stalls at the event, it informed.
