Dimapur, June 8 (EMN): The second mega angling competition organised by Dimapur like-minded anglers and hosted by Musu Angling Club, Hoito village, under Dimapur district was held on Saturday, June 8 at Musu Angling center in Hoito village.
According to an update from the DPRO Dimapur, Akum secured the first position with a total catch of 4.219 kg and walked away with a Redi Go Datsun car. Subasish with a catch of 1.339 kg won the second prize and was awarded 150 Pulsar bike while Chanda bagged the third place and received a maestro hero scooty.
Six other anglers were given a cash prize of INR 10000 each while three others received INR. 5000 according to their catches. Around 200 anglers drawn from different states of Nagaland and also anglers from Bangalore, Manipur, Assam participated in the mega angling competition. Besides the anglers, hundreds of well wishers, family members of the participating anglers and supporters witnessed the angling competition.
