Stakeholders in Noklak meet to discuss preparations for Census 2027 and review drug abuse prevention measures.

KIPHIRE — A sensitisation and awareness programme on the upcoming Census 2027, Special Intensive Revision (SIR), and a review of activities under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was held at the EAC Office in Nokhu, Noklak, on June 12.
During the meeting, participants were briefed on the importance of Census 2027 and the SIR process. Discussions were also held on the progress of activities undertaken under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the challenges faced in its implementation.
According to an update, the gathering reviewed ongoing efforts to create awareness against substance abuse and prepared an action plan for the effective implementation of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan in the area. Participants highlighted the need for collective community participation and cooperation to ensure a drug-free society.
