Subdivisional administrations in Medziphema and Tizit hold coordination meetings to distribute tasks for Independence Day.

DIMAPUR — Coordination meetings were held in Medziphema and Tizit subdivisions on Tuesday to plan and assign departmental responsibilities for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration.
Medziphema: In Medziphema, a meeting of all state and central heads of offices (HoOs) was held at the additional deputy commissioner’s (ADC) conference hall under the chairmanship of ADC Medziphema, P James Swu.
According to a DIPR report, the house deliberated on preparations and assigned various responsibilities to different departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme. The ADC reminded all members to work in close coordination, extend mutual support, and perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.
Another key agenda discussed was the organisation of a special cleanliness drive across the subdivision on August 13 starting from 7 am.
Additionally, exhibition stalls will be set up by departments and organisations, including Veterinary Field Assistant Training Institute, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, AGRI, Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and Central Institute of Horticulture, during the celebration to showcase local culture, products, and government initiatives. The ADC also instructed all government officers and institutions under the subdivision to hoist the national flag at 6 am on Independence Day.
Tizit: In Tizit, ADC C Phuniang convened a coordination meeting at the ADC’s conference hall in the Mon district.
During the meeting, work distribution for the successful celebration was discussed and entrusted to various departments and organisations. The meeting was attended by representatives of civil societies, educational institutions, government departments, dobhashis (DBs), gaon buras (GBs), and uniformed personnel.
