Medical XI rout Silver White

Kohima, June 13 (EMN): Kekhrie scored five goals as Medical XI routed Silver White 6-1 at Kohima local ground on Tuesday morning and retained the top of the Morning Premier League. Kekhrie found the net through Mathew in the 16th minute and Mhao added the second goal, one minute later as the first half ended 2-0 for Medical XI. Silver White managed to pull one back in the second half after Tesah scored in the 49th minute. However, with the effort from Kekhrie, he routed Silver White as he scored four successive goals in 12 minutes. He found the net on 55th, 62nd, 64th and 67th minute to finish the game. With the win, Medical XI retained the top with 34 points after 15 games and moved two points above All Blacks who earlier beat Morung United on Monday. Silver White remained at the bottom of the table.
