MDFA XI and MPC exhibition match on Oct. 20

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): The Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) and Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) will play an exhibition match on Friday, Oct. 20 as part of the ongoing silver jubilee edition of the MDFA Trophy 2017 on the theme ‘Football for Mokokchung’. The MPC, whose members are also ardent football lovers with die hard fans of teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid among them has been a part of the MDFA Trophy for many years and this year’s exhibition match will also be an initiative of promoting this beautiful game called football in Mokokchung district. The MDFA XI team will be captained by Supongwati (the Tournament Secretary of MDFA Trophy) while the MPC team will be led by its president Limalenden Longkumer as the captain. This exhibition match, which will be one of its kind in Mokokchung district, is being held with the noble vision of promoting the game of football and also to convey the message that football is a universal game loved by all. Towards this end, MDFA XI and MPC cordially invite all the football lovers to come and witness the match on October 20.
