MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 10: Tongpang Ruju drew with Arikodong Club at the ongoing MDFA trophy 2016 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex on Monday.
Tongpang Ruju took the lead when midfield Tongpangnokdang scored in the 20th minute but Arikodong fought back and striker Burkumzuk got the equaliser in the 29th minute. However with the draw, Arikodong entered the pre-quarters through goal difference.
In the second encounter, Hills XI FC defeated GrassHoopers by 3-0. Hills XI FC striker Tinuwati scored the fastest goal in the MDFA trophy within 1 minute of the play, while he scored other two goals in 60th minute and 62nd minutes to make it a hat-trick. Both the teams entered the pre-quarters.
In the last match, Telongjem FC beat Socianian by 1-0. The lone goal was scored by Ngul Goulal in the 64th minute. Telongjem entered the pre-quarters along with Socianian.
