Dimapur, Jan. 12 (EMN): As part of its one-day continuous professional development programme, Mokokchung College of Teacher Education (MCTE) orgamised a programne on January 12 at Mangkolong Tea Park on the theme “Re-committing to institutional growth with renewed strength.”
An update from the college stated that the programme was conducted in two sessions- the first for the teaching faculty and the second for non-teaching staff.
Addressing the teaching and non-teaching staff as the resource person, the chief veterinary officer, Dr. BM Sunep advocated that “Work is worship and a calling” and encouraged the teaching faculty to be effective teachers and great influencers. He also emphasised on the spiritual life of a teacher.
Further, the resource person also asked the non-teaching staff to understand their real purpose and to work hard with sincerity and honesty.
