MCS from Nagaland meets CM Biren Singh in Manipur

IMPHAL, April 5 (EMN): A 10-member team of Manipuri Cultural Society (MCS), Kohima (Nagaland) met Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh at his office chamber today afternoon. MCS is a body of Manipuris settled in Nagaland. During the meeting, the delegates invited the Chief Minister to visit Nagaland to foster peace and brotherhood among the people of two neighbouring states. Accepting the invitation, N Biren Singh expressed his willingness to visit Nagaland by road and meet Nagaland Chief Minister Shurhozelie Liezietsu as soon as possible. He also assured that all possible assistance will be extended to all the Manipuris settled in Nagaland.
