Dimapur, Oct. 26 (EMN): Mon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has decided to hold its general meeting cum 6th foundation day programme on December 1 at Mon Council Hall at 1 p.m.
In connection, its general secretary Unok SN has informed all the business establishments of Mon headquarters to attend the programme without fail. It has also extended invitation to the business establishments from Tizit, Naginimora, Aboi and Tobu towns to the programme.
Meanwhile, all the businessmen from Mon headquarter are informed to clear membership fees for the tenure 2017-18 on or before November 25.
It also informed all the business establishment in Mon headquarter not to pay any illegal taxes/donation. It has asked all members to immediately report such cases to the organisation.
It has also directed all shop owners not to sell liquor, opium, adding the organisation would not be held responsible for any action befalling on the violators in future.
It further notified the Additional District Supply Officer, all Block SKs, all VDBs, coordinator SSA Mon in-charge, and all the fair price shops in Mon district that the supply rice and MDM rice should not be diverted in the market. It has cautioned to initiate action as per the law if rice are found in the shop from the concerned account.
