Dimapur, July 7 (EMN): Model Christian College (MCC) organised its 12th freshers’ meet on July 6 at the college auditorium. The programme was facilitated by Arnado Kiphur and Bendangtoshi Jamir of 3rd semester.
The programme began with a welcome address delivered by Nukulu, acting president of MCC Students’ Council.
Speaking on the occasion, the college administrator Albert Arücho stressed on the need for students to develop an attitude of dedication, sacrifice and hard work. Arücho also encouraged the students to be inquisitive in their classrooms.
Speech on behalf of freshers was delivered by David of BA 1st semester, while speech on behalf of alumni was delivered by Yaoreiso MK Simrah of 2014 batch. Lam Grace, an alumna of the college, made a special appearance followed by performances of items from the students of third and fifth semester.
Maongtula of BA 1st semester and Chubalong of BSc 1st semester were crowned Mr and Miss Fresher MCC 2019.
