Kohima, Oct. 17 (EMN): All Blacks beat Club Football Fanatics by a solitary goal during the first semi-final match to enter the final of the ongoing Morning Champions Cup held at IG Stadium, Kohima on Tuesday morning. The tournament is being organised by Morning Football Association (MFA).
During the match, the lone goal was scored by Keze in the 13th minute assisted by Weku, while Club Football Fanatics made no comeback as All Blacks hold on until the end of the final whistle to win the match.
All Blacks will face the winner of the match played between Morung United FC and FC Pezielietsie for the final match on October 21
Earlier in the quarter-final match on October 11, All Blacks beat Amur Falcon Football Club 3-2 to enter the semi-final of the tournament.
It may be mentioned that MCC is a tournament where the players are between the age of 28 – 50 vying for the coveted trophy. MCC aims to create a platform through Morning Premier League and Morning Champions Cup to those over aged and retired football players who still have the urge to kick the ball and also to maintain one’s health as well as make new friends.
