  • DIMAPUR — With the dual objectives of fostering environmental awareness and instilling a collective sense of responsibility toward preservation and beautification, the Poumai Naga Tsiidoumai Me (PNTM) organised a mass tree plantation and cleanliness drive in collaboration with the Senapati Forest Division on Friday.
  •
  • Themed “Together for a Cleaner, Greener Poumai Land,” the mission saw overwhelming participation, with 76 federating and sub-units joining forces to plant approximately 6,000 saplings of diverse indigenous species across the Poumai land. They also conducted a cleanliness drive to promote sustainable waste management and community hygiene.
  •
  • During the campaign, J. Dalounii Angam, President of PNTM, announced that the cleanest Poumai village and those demonstrating exceptional commitment to nurturing their planted trees would be recognised at the end of each tenure, ensuring long-term dedication to ecological conservation.
